Israel–Hamas War: Israel has again attacked Gaza. On Wednesday (April 10, 2024), it carried out an air strike on Gaza. Three sons and grandsons of Hamas Chief Ismail Haniyeh were also killed in this attack. According to Hebrew media, Ismail Haniyeh has confirmed the killings. The statement said, “All citizens of Gaza have paid the price with the blood of their children, including my children.” Arabic and Hebrew media reports said he was killed in a vehicle in the al-Shati refugee camp in Gaza City.
Ismail Haniyeh’s brother and 14 close family members, including his family, were killed in an Israeli airstrike in October 2023. Palestinian media previously reported that Ismail Haniyeh’s doctor granddaughter Roa Haniyeh and her son Hazem Haniyeh were also murdered in February 2024.

“Incidents in Gaza gave bitter experience to Muslims of the world”
Meanwhile, Iran’s Supreme Leader Ayatollah Ali Khamenei said on Wednesday that the events in Gaza have given a bitter experience to Muslims around the world. According to the report of Al Jazeera, he said during his Eid-ul-Fitr speech, “The bloody incidents in Gaza have given a bitter experience to Muslims around the world. They are attacking women, children and the elderly because Israel has failed to defeat Palestinian fighters.
More than 33 thousand Palestinians have been killed in Israeli attack
Many countries have requested for an immediate ceasefire in the Gaza Strip. Israeli bombardment has been going on there for almost six months. In a joint statement on Monday, Egyptian President Abdel-Fattah el-Sisi, Jordan’s King Abdullah II and French President Emmanuel Macron called for the immediate and unconditional implementation of UN Security Council Resolution 2728. According to information released by Gaza’s Health Ministry on Monday, so far 33,207 Palestinians have been killed and 75,933 people have been injured in Gaza due to Israeli attacks.
